Booking a TR19 clean — what to expect

What to expect when booking a TR19 kitchen extract clean

Booking extract cleaning should feel practical, not mysterious. Here is the process we use with restaurants, hotels, takeaways, and holiday parks across coastal Lincolnshire.

1. Enquiry and kitchen extract survey

Tell us your town, kitchen type, and any insurer or Environmental Health deadline. We arrange a survey to review canopy, filters, ducts, fans, and access. That survey shapes the quotation — see contact.

2. Quotation and cleaning window

You get a clear scope and price based on the system, not a guess from a photo. We agree a window: early morning, late evening, closed day, or shoulder season for park outlets.

3. Cleaning day

We degrease to the agreed TR19 scope. Protection of the kitchen, safe access, and leaving the space ready for service are part of the job. Coastal sites from Mablethorpe to Cleethorpes often need that out-of-hours discipline.

4. Report and certificate

After the clean you receive documentation for your compliance file — what was cleaned, condition notes, and certification suitable for insurers and EH.

What helps us help you

  • Photos of the canopy and any roof fan access
  • Last clean date if you have it
  • Peak season dates for park outlets
  • Any landlord or insurer deadline

What a proper extract clean actually gives you

  • TR19 method

    Guidance followed, work written up

Cleans planned to BESA TR19 practice, with a report and certificate for insurers and Environmental Health — not a handshake and a vague invoice.

    TR19 extract cleaning
  • Full grease path

    Canopy through to the fan

Canopies, baffles, duct runs, and extract fans cleaned as your system needs — the grease path, not a shine on the faceplate.

  • Fire-risk focus

    Deposits removed, not hidden

Built-up grease is fuel sitting in the extract. We strip the deposits that matter in the canopy, duct, and fan.

    How we work
  • Survey first

    Quoted from your kitchen

Cooking load, access panels, and duct layout decide the job. Quotations follow a kitchen extract survey.

  • Around service

    Timed when covers allow
